Dallas is an expansive metropolitan hub in Texas that encompasses many popular neighborhoods, such as Deep Ellum and the Bishop Arts District. You can visit Big Tex or enjoy a meal inside the rotating Reunion Tower.

Navigate Dallas From the DFW Airport

The terminals at DFW Airport are laid out in an arc. The baggage claim and security check area are central to the airport—regardless of your arrival terminal, you'll pass this area as you head toward the exit. You can transfer between terminals via Skylink, which has two station locations in each terminal. There are terminal link shuttle services between the parking lots and main building. Additionally, you'll find more than 20 eateries here, ranging from coffee shops to fast food and, of course, a barbecue joint.

Three of the most popular conference centers in Dallas are the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas, the Meadows Conference Center, and the Tower at Cityplace. Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas is the largest, with space to accommodate trade shows, conventions, and even concerts. It's located at 650 South Griffin Street and offers three surface parking lots with fees starting at $10 per car. Garage parking is $15. The drive from the airport will take approximately 30 minutes. There's a Starbucks inside, and the nearest dining options are off South Lamar Street.

Enjoy Your Stay in Dallas

Uptown Dallas, Downtown Dallas, and Deep Ellum are three of the best neighborhoods in the city for quality food. Downtown Dallas is a business hub, so it's an excellent choice for a meeting with clients or co-workers. Try Five Sixty by Wolfgang Puck for a more eclectic experience atop Reunion Tower. The Y.O. Ranch Steakhouse is a fantastic option if you want to wow clients with exotic fares such as buffalo or elk. If you’re looking for something a little more casual, grab a pizza and a few pints at Il Cane Roso in Deep Ellum or swing into one of the area’s Torchy’s Tacos for a quick lunch and the best queso you’ll ever find.

If you need something to do between flights, check out the Dallas World Aquarium, an attraction unlike anything you've visited before. This multi-floor aquarium and zoo houses unique animals from penguins to giant river otters, and even a jaguar. If you need some exercise, visit Trammell Crow Park for a brisk jog and fantastic views of the city and its signature bridges.
